Fair Fare has no accounts and stores nothing about you. A request carries only the places, time and fare you give, and we don't keep any of it or link it to you.
To answer, place names are sent to OpenStreetMap-based services (Photon by Komoot, and Nominatim if needed) to find them on the map, and the two points to the OSRM road router to measure the trip. A New York licence check sends only the licence number to New York City's open data service; if you add a driver's name, it is compared there and never sent back or kept.
Fare figures come from published city tariffs and New York's public trip records, which contain no personal details. If you open an Uber, Lyft, public transport or transfer link, that company's privacy policy applies.
The site runs on Cloudflare, which may keep standard technical logs under the Cloudflare privacy policy. No tracking, ads or profiles.
